The Emerald State School Parents and Citizens Association (ESS P&C) is an organisation for parents and citizens interested in the welfare of our School to help provide support for our students by:
· Consulting on school policies and procedures
· Fundraising and planning community events
· Managing the tuckshop and other in-school programs
The ESS P&C meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Administration block conference room. All parents, carers and interested people are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The ESS P&C conduct two major fundraising events each year, the
Easter Fete (Term 1) and
Christmas Gift & Craft Fair (Term 4) as well as supporting in School programs like
Scholastic Book Club and
Dollarmites School Banking. Please see the tabs here for each of these for further details.
Each fundraising event conducted by the P&C need many volunteers and hours to be a success. Volunteering at P&C events is a great way to become involved in your child’s school community, meet new friends and can be very rewarding.
